Welcome back to Brunch with Desb! I’m not going to lie to you guys, this was a really tough one for me. Unfortunately, I have experienced one of the hardest weeks of my adult life recently and I simply cannot bring myself to provide you with a typical Brunch with Desb episode. However, I did want to keep showing up not only for my amazing listeners who continue to support me, but for myself as well and that’s why I’m here today. I owe it to myself to do what I love and that is podcasting.
In this episode, I want to let you in on how this incredibly difficult week has affected me and my mental health and the reason that I wanted to do this is because I know so many of you are also going through it right now. I want you to know that whatever you are going through, you can live in a place of frustration and sadness while also living in a place of gratitude. Although I feel completely beat up, I also feel a sense of pride and perseverance for the person that I am and I hope that this is a reminder for you to be proud of the way you show up as well.
