In the latest episode of the “Best Coast Boys” podcast, hosts Landon McCool and the Dallas Morning News’ John Owning review the Dallas Cowboys in their losing effort to the Green Bay Packers.

The “Best Coast Boys” podcast is a Cowboys-centric podcast that will delve into many other topics. Whether it is the NFL, Cowboys, movies, music, comics, food or Mixed Martial Arts, nothing is off limits on the “Best Coast Boys” podcast.

After the pleasantries, the guys catch up on all the latest injuries news and notes surrounding the Cowboys roster. After that, Landon and John dive into their review of the Cowboys (both offense and defense) vs the Saints. The guys begin by giving their #NAWBRA of the week to the officials in the Packers-Cowboys game. Landon goes off on how terrible the officiating was in Sunday’s game.

The guys then give a position-by-position review, starting on the OL. Landon gives his thoughts on Brandon Knight’s performance while John dives into what could have been Travis Frederick’s best performance of the season. The guys move to WR where they discuss Amari Cooper’s performance and why Michael Gallup is the perfect No. 2 WR. At QB, the guys discuss why Dak Prescott wasn’t the reason the Cowboys lost.

On the defensive side of the ball, the guys discuss the DL's, specifically the DTs, issues stopping the run. The guys come up with some solutions to Dallas problems. The guys then move to LB, where Landon laments on what could be Leighton Vander Esch’s worst performance as a Cowboy. John discusses Jaylon Smith’s struggles while stating it’s time Joe Thomas started over Sean Lee.
