Mark Barber is the project lead and founder of ChainBois Web3 Gaming. Mark became interested in cryptocurrency in 2019. He saw that crypto provided users with a decentralized, fast & cost effective platform to manage their assets. He also believed that the traditional financial structure had flaws such as inflation, government interference, and was unfairly targeting those who couldn’t participate in financial institutions due to lack of documentation and other factors. After researching different blockchains, Mark came to believe that the Algorand blockchain had many advantages including speed, negligible gas fees and carbon friendliness. He became an influencer and NFT project advisor working with many projects to improve their visibility, use-case, and financial return. After seeing some of the flaws that these projects incorporated, as well as the lack of utility in NFTs, Mark decided to create a project superior to the projects he had been advising. ChainBois Web3 Gaming was born. Mark researched the best blockchain to deploy a Web3 gaming project on, it was clear that Avalanche Blockchain was the best choice. Due to Avalanche’s ability to deploy subnets specifically for gaming platforms he saw the ability to grow a gaming company infinitely. ChainBois Web3 Gaming will release its first game, a 3rd person P2E shooter in late 2024. The game will include a first class gaming experience, melding both the gameplay and aesthetics of Web2 gaming with the advantages of the ability to earn crypto, own and sell game assets on chain, and bring the power and earning ability back to the gamer. Mark intends to grow upon this first game and release other games in the future that correspond with the ever-changing Web3 experience
