Maybe you've heard the term "deconstruction" before. We see people deconstructing christianity, church and their faith. Some choose to walk away because of doubt, the hypocrisy they see and the suffering they don't understand. Gleaning from Wade Bearden's book, To My Friend Who Left The Church, we will approach this topic in this year's Summer Reading series. Trying to understand faith can be complicated especially when people who call themselves a part of the faith make it complicated. The enemy's goal is to always pull us away from God, but God can make us stronger even through our questions. In week one we see how God never stops loving us and we should never stop loving those who may be struggling in their faith.
