She is the first Muslim and Palestinian woman ever elected to the Georgia State House of Representatives. We talk about her background and her work as an elected official, as well as the Uncommitted movement within the Democratic Party and how she was supposed to speak at the DNC but was denied. It's an important part of the overall conversation surrounding the election and Rep. Romman brings a needed perspective to this conversation.
