Join us as we discuss the intersection of visual art and poetry. Poets will join us with their works and how they find inspiration in visual art. Ekphrasis: Using Art to Inspire Poetry is a tradition that goes far back in time....The earliest and best known example of ekphrasis is the long description of the shield made by Hephaistos and given to Achilles by his mother Thetis.
