We play "Thank You, No Thank you" where Chris hates on prog rock, deplores Ringo's All Starr Band (but loves Ringo), and explains Roth-era Van Halen as funny, Vaudevillian, and a guilty pleasure.

About Chris:
Chris Sprague is a musician and singer. And behind the Lucha LIbre (Mexican wrestling) mask – Chris "Gringo Starr" is the great drummer and singer for the incomparable Los Straightjackets.
Los Straightjackets are a crack instrumental band with 20-plus albums recorded. According to legend, they are Conan O’Brien’s favorite band, having played live on his shows 13 times! For the last many years, the Straightjackets have been Nick Lowe’s band. They’re currently touring North America and Europe with Nick in support the album recorded together entitled “Indoor Safari.”
If you know Nick Lowe, you know greatness. And if you’ve seen Los Straightjackets – especially live -- you’ve SEEN greatness. Chris is the drummer and main vocalist of the band. You’ll hear his sweet harmony vocals behind Nick Lowe’s singing. Outside of the Straightjackets, Chris can be heard in a bevy of other bands including The Sound Minds, The Outta Sites and on the west coast in Ventures Mania - tribute band to The Ventures. Chris lives in upstate New York with his wife and cats.
