THREE WORDS THAT CHANGED THE WORLD John 19:30 March 31, 2024 Easter reminds us that God plays by His own rules. He doesn’t always do what we expect. Easter declares there is only ONE way to Heaven. Acts 4:12 Easter tells us: 1. You cannot reject Christ and have any hope of heaven. 2. You cannot look at any other religious leader for salvation. 3. You cannot combine Christ with anyone else or anything else. 4. You are not free to make up your own religion. 5. You cannot save yourself. Easter demands a decision: Who do you believe Jesus to be? Liar Lunatic Lord Jesus is the bridge between sinful man and a sinless God. John 8:1-11 John 5:24 Jesus entire ministry was to humans trapped in a cycle of destruction. Luke 7:37-39 To know freedom, our redemption had to be paid. Romans 5:8-10 That price was Jesus. Arrested at night, tried at night, beaten, stripped, scourged, and finally crucified. Isiah 54:14 Isiah 50:6 Matthew 27:29-31 From the cross He uttered with His last breath, “It is finished!” Buried in a borrowed tomb, sealed, and guarded by a Legion of Roman Soldiers. But on the Third Day-Luke 24:5 “Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here but is risen.” God’s answer to death is the Resurrection! John 11:25 The death and resurrection of Jesus is one of the best attested facts in human history. Are you ready to hear Him say, “Neither do I condemn you, go and sin no more.”
