Hi and welcome to episode 1 of a brand new podcast that hopes to combine coffee, conversation and comedy with interesting topics. We’ll be taking a totally irreverent look at the world, whilst talking about coffee, things, and to people who have some interesting stories to tell.
I’m your host, Kris Grainger, and I’m a coffee obsessive who tries to persuade funny and interesting people to join me for a chat, on the promise of some damned good coffee.
In this episode, we talk to local stand up comedian and comedy gig organiser Danny Davies. Danny has been on the semi-pro circuit for a number of years. We talk about how Covid-19 and lockdown has affected comedy gigs and venues, we talk about Danny’s marriage proposal and how he was the only the one who didn’t know what was happening, and I tell my story of when I met Sara Pascoe, in a toilet.
