Today’s episode features a conversation with a fellow podcaster by the name of Mark Steeves, aka Mystic Mark. Mark is the producer and host of his own show entitled “My Family Thinks I’m Crazy”, he is also the creator of Alt Media united, a database for tons of other very cool podcasts which explore a wide range range of topics from the occult, to hidden history, spirituality and the like. I found MFTIC around the fall of 2021 on a random Spotify podcast search, for the esoteric foundations and non-mainstream narratives of the ancient Egyptian civilization. I honestly can’t even remember what keywords I was typing into the search but I ended up stumbling upon an episode of the my family thinks im crazy podcast. The episode definitely did have a guest on who was educated on the subject I was searching for but definitely don’t remember what episode that was specifically. Needless to say I found myself frequently returning to his show and eventually became a regular listener. Mark is also the booker for another very popular show called Tin Foil Hat with Sam Tripoli, a show that Mark himself has been a guest on a number of times. A short excerpt from Mark’s website reads “Independent Thinker, Conspiracy Sleuther, Mystical Explorer, and Spiritual Seeker. I have always questioned the official narrative whether it was from the classroom, on television, or the world around me. I research anything and everything that presents itself to my intuition.” Mark and I span a pretty wide breadth of topics from the geological ages of americas coastlines, the evolution of language, ancient sacred sites and geomancy, his personal podcasting journey and what his learned in the process, we talk indigenous legends, some American occult history as well as share artistic devices and recommendations for the podcast toolkit and much more.
