Burnout recovery, mental health and supporting yourself with Derek Rogers

Derek has always been active and healthy, playing sports, in clubs and involved with communities. He was in scouting for eighteen years and is a Queen Scout.
He has researched and studied food, human behaviour, and longevity for the last twenty years. As a single parent, he suffered from burnout and depression, and this is where he begins his story of what happened and how he was healed.
Derek also describes his recent move from Victoria to the Sunshine Coast with his wife, a place that has always felt like home and allows him and his wife thrive.
Biography
Derek is the founder of ‘The Thrive Movement Australia’. He is passionate about
empowering People, Teams, Leaders and Organisations to be Healthier and Happier, Safer, more Engaged, Communicate and Perform better. To Thrive!
Derek now uses his experience, plus his background as a TAFE, then PE, Health and Outdoor Ed Teacher and Mindset Coach to deliver transformational Training and Coaching for communities and businesses.
Being a social soul, he is a member of several men’s groups, a golf, car, football, and craft beer club.
