We continue season four, our season for the fans, with an examination of a film that neither of your co-curators had ever seen that is constantly brought to our attention as a film that must be addressed in our efforts to chart a shared cinematic universe of the films of Adam Sandler: 2008’s “You Don’t Mess with the Zohan”
Will this combination of the comedic sensibilities of Sandler, Smigel, and Apatow directed by Dennis Dugan prove too satirical to hold a place in the universe as we have cultivated it so far? The only way to answer that question is to settle in and listen as Devon and Sejohn willfully ignore the advice of the title and mess with the Zohan.
