Matthew Chapter 2 begins with God choosing the Magi (magicians or more popularly known as the wise men), to identify Jesus as the Messiah. They thwart the plan of Herod and refuse to tell them what they saw...which leads to a mass slaughter.
How can we justify these actions? Why would God use Magicians?
