Today’s guest is Sally Goldner. Sally has dedicated her life to making the Australian community one of the best places to identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender or intersex (LGBTIQA+). Sally has worked persistently for well over two decades to advocate for the rights and needs of LGBTIQA+ communities in Victoria and around Australia. Since co-founding Transgender Victoria in the late 1990s, Sally has successfully represented the transgender community in public forums, before the Victorian Parliament and in the media. Sally has worked for many years with a number of Victorian and federal government departments and non-government organisations to reform discriminatory public policy and laws, participating in a number of reference groups and steering committees. Sally has been recognised for her advocacy with awards such as LGBTIQA+ Globe Person of the Year Awards in 2015. Sally has also been active in community media, first at Joy 94.9 and BENT TV, and since 2005 at 3CR where she hosts ‘Out of the Pan’ which draws attention to pansexual issues. Jordana (Jordi) Ezra is a certified Somatic Sexologist who predominately works in the LGBTIA+ community. As someone who grew up not feeling safe to be queer, Jordi has dedicated their career to learning, understanding and guiding queer bodied humans to feel safe within the intersections of their gender and sexuality so that they can experience the full spectrum of pleasure that’s available to them. Jordi creates courses, programs and workshops for newly out queers to feel confident in their queerness. Jordi combines ancient teachings, neuroscience and a combination of tools with a highly attuned intuition in a holistic approach to awaken sexuality, integrate internalised homophobia and heal through the avenue of pleasure.
