High-stakes ethics decisions are common in health care. What should you do? Each month, the AMA Journal of Ethics’ podcast, Ethics Talk, features interviews with influential experts and leaders on a wide range of cultural, historical, legal, and social topics in health care ethics. We sort through interesting, important, and difficult questions, talk about how to weigh competing values, and offer strategies for navigating real world tough cases.
 
A selection of seminars and special lectures on wide-ranging topics relating to practical ethics. The Oxford Uehiro Centre for Practical Ethics was established in 2002 with the support of the Uehiro Foundation on Ethics and Education of Japan. It is an integral part of the philosophy faculty of Oxford University, one of the great centres of academic excellence in philosophical ethics.

Brought to you by “After Dinner Conversation” publishing; thoughtful discussions about the philosophy and ethics found in the short fiction stories from our monthly magazine. Or, put another way, discussions about “what-if” examples, across literary genres, regarding ethics, metaphysics, epistemology, utilitarianism, aesthetics, moral relativism, and political and economic philosophy.
 
We explore controversial ethical issues about video games (e.g. what should be censored), in video games (e.g. what counts as cheating), and in video game design (e.g. what works to make a game morally interesting).
