Welcome to our first episode of a new series, exploring the intersection of philosophy and medicine. In this episode, host Michael Braun talks with the two hosts of the new series. Fabrice Jotterand, PhD, MA, is professor of bioethics and medical humanities at the Medical College of Wisconsin, where he also directs the Philosophies of Medical Education Transformation Lab (P-METaL). James Woodruff, MD, is dean of students and professor of medicine for the Pritzker School of Medicine at the University of Chicago.

In this episode, we explore what philosophy brings to medicine and how Drs. Jotterand and Woodruff will use their passions for this intersection to delve into the complex interplay between these two sometimes divergent disciplines.
