ALWAYS FREAKIN REMEMBER WHY YOU STARTED WHAT YOU STARTED Being writer feel your writing and writing and no one is hearing you. Feeling like you wanna quit, like you wanna give up. I was in the exact same spot. Growing up, living for only 16 years lol, I was very lost. I struggled with who I was and had no sense of direction. And I know you probably gonna “your a kid”. But I felt something was really off about me. I copied others, I hated myself, I hid my emotions, and concealed my true identity. My story is the backbone of why I starting creating content. Your why is like your mission. What the reason you wake up every freakin day to write for people, cause it’s a really a choice at the end of the day. It might have come from your story, maybe you had a deep persistent interest and passion on something you wrote about, did you struggle for a long time and help people not endure what you did. It’s endless. Before you find your why it all starts with your... Creation story. Write out and use your creation story to be a vessel for your why as a writer. Your story will forever follow you and your writing for your whole life as a writer so you must think about this and have it sculpt your writing. But your creation story is huge, hone hard on it, don’t be afraid to share your deepest darker secrets. Next is finding a interest in what you write first, then a passion is what gonna keep you destined to write for long hours without thought of boredom or low inspiration. “But Lucc all the self help gurus say stick sign your passion and go after it”. Not quite. Figures don’t after a passion, but a persistent interest first cause they indefinitely love doing it, soon they develop a passion for it and see how they impact other people. Try to isolate it to one thing and one way to figure it out is see, what I am I extremely good at and to the point that I can confidently teach someone this. Passion is like a flame, it burns bright but lights out. Interest is a candle, it burns forever, until someone decides to light it out which is you, if you decide to pivot to another writing interest. Be sure to out your audience on who your writing for so they know what they are getting from the get to stay and support you or leave and never back. If you try to write for everyone, your writing for no one, and if you try to appeal to everyone, your appealing to no one. Figure out what do they want and what do they need. Search for solutions, and start solving their problems, add your own spin on it so your different from everyone else. Then start writing! So know a specific group that needs your attention so you serve them best and change the face of that group in a positive way. Know what they want and what they need to help that group rise from the grave and be a new face of what that group once was cause your writing content is that helps that certain groups with problems they face. Having a why is huge. “It prevents those I was give up” or “I wanna quit” moments. Feeling like you wanna quit is normal and imposter syndrome is normal. But that why helps alleviate it. Having that heartbeat is what stopped me from giving this stuff up. My story is deep and huge and it can hopefully resonate with a lot people.
