Street Law Program Judge Diaz has served in the Criminal Division of the County Court in Broward for 26 years. He is actively involved in Legal Education teaching Judges at Florida’s New Judges College, law students at Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law as an Adjunct Professor for 30 years. Judge Diaz also teaches Lawyers at the N.I.T.A. (National Institute of Trial Advocacy) for 24 years, and teaches high school and middle school students in his Street Law Program and through visits to 15 to 20 middle and high schools since he was appointed and then elected in 1992.
