Piper was a nervous and anxious dog. She didn't know if she was supposed to protect her people from strangers, act friendly toward them, or something in between. Her people owned a restaurant and in the middle of COVID, the employees there also seemed on edge most of the time. When I asked the dog if she could tell which people were friendly and which people might mean harm, she had an intriguing way of defining those two kinds of energies. Piper needed clarification on her job from a human perspective.
