The Sharks had one of their worst seasons in franchise history last year. Will this year be better or worse? Start by making a case for why the 2023-24 San Jose Sharks will be worse than they were last year, including the lack of superstars after Timo Meier and Erik Karlsson were traded away, huge questions in goaltending, and a better Pacific Division. Next, why the Sharks could be better this year thanks to much better depth with the additions of Anthony Duclair, Mikael Granlund, and Filip Zadina. William Eklund playing a full season with veteran players, and just better luck could lead the Sharks to having a better record this year. Finally, why everything will probably balance out and this season could be very similar to last year in terms of points and where that should put the Sharks in the standings.
