When there is a conflict between loving God and loving others, which commandment takes precedence?

One time the Lord told a prophet to retrench 17 of his staff and stop a project because there was a recession coming. Why didn’t the Lord provide for all his ministry needs, so that he could continue to keep his employees?

Jesus said the first and greatest commandment is to love the Lord your God. Love is to obey His commandments. When the Lord instructs us to do something, then we should obey the commandment of the Lord. The spoken instruction is the Spirit of the Word. If we take the written Word and obey it, against what the Lord has said, then we will be following the letter of the Word.

Jesus commanded us to love one another. He did not say to love the devil or someone who yields to the devil, who will cause harm to the body of Christ.

Apostle John wrote that if we invite deceivers and the anti-Christ into our midst, we will be deceived and abandon the truth. John said it could even cause us to lose what we have worked hard to achieve.
