About Luminary: Walter Gilbert is a renowned American biochemist and 1980 Nobel Laureate in Chemistry, known for his pioneering work in DNA sequencing. He also co-founded biotech companies Biogen, Myriad Genetics, and Paratek Pharmaceuticals. Beyond science, Gilbert is also an accomplished artist, working primarily in photography and visual arts, with his works exhibited in galleries worldwide. About the Host: Gita Wirjawan is an Indonesian entrepreneur, educator, and Honorary Professor of Politics and International Relations at the School of Politics and International Relations, University of Nottingham.
