Is there something that you want to change in your life but can’t seem to find the strength & means to do it? Do you sometimes feel so tired you just want to give up? There are some things that “only God” can make happen in our lives. With all of our strength, we can try & pursue all the things we believe can make us happy, but still end up living a tiring, pretentious & pressure-filled life. This is not how God intended us to live. The Word reminds us that it is in letting go of our personal wants that we will find true rest. Jesus said, the more we chase after the world & everything that it offers, the more it will fail us. But the more we lose ourselves for God & focus on His purpose for our lives, that’s when we can experience the kind of fulfillment that will truly satisfy us.
