First off, I swear it wasn’t my idea to put the dudes in the front seats and the women in the backseats. I knew it was going to be terrible optics. Dammit.
This episode was a blast. I was joined by Mike Vinopal and Alex Subak of the bands Local Motive and Badcandy and Michelle Foik, founder of Eris Brewery and Cider House in Old Irving Park.
As we ate delicious food from the Eris menu (and thought longingly about being able to enjoy Eris cider once we were out of the car), we talked about both bands (new albums on the way from both!) and Eris history (first female-owned brewery in Illinois and Chicago!).
